APPLICATION IN TWO EASY STEPS
Step 1:
Choose your entry level
What is your entry level?
You will need to evaluate whether you meet the requirements for the 1st or 2nd year of Metàfora’s Studio Arts program.
Short term students are welcome on both levels.
- 1st year applicants do no need to have experience in art or a present a portfolio: the course is for learning and experimenting! We welcome students with A-levels or high school diploma in art. Students with experience from shorter courses in art are also welcome on this level.
- 2nd year applicants are required to have at least one year of full-time art training (at university level) and be very familiar with contemporary art history. It is required to present a portfolio, where we can see a clear and defined personal art project. All 2nd year applications go though a selection process and an admission interview.
- Metàfora does not admit students directly to the 3rd year.
Step 2:
Register for Year 1 or Year 2
Foundation Program (Year 1):
This level is for curious souls with some experience in art. On Year 1 you experiment, learn and play your way into contemporary art.
You can apply for long or short term, from 6 weeks to 3 years.
