Class Description
In this class, Piotr will engage students in creating a series of geometric patterns using a ruler and a handcrafted compass to explore the concepts of overlap between transparent and opaque forms, rhythm, movement, direction, order, balance, scale, and composition.
Influenced by renowned artists such as Sol LeWitt, Juan Hernandez Pjuan, Antoni Saura, Roman Opalka, Jackson Pollock, Carsten Nicolai, and Merce Cunningham, the course draws inspiration from their works.
