Class description
During these workshops, in-house tutor and painter Piotr Perski will teach basic structure portraiture, focusing on parts of the face, lines and emotions, natural expression and likeness in a half-length portrait.
Students will create a series of group portraits or family portraits working with unusual found materials such as old photos, tracing paper, paper plates and napkins, and can integrate feelings, senses, and attributes.

Teacher, Painting and Drawing
Piotr Perski is a Polish painter, settled in Barcelona since 1998. In Barcelona he shows mainly at Galería Jordi Barnadas and Sala Parés.
He holds a BA Fine Art (Adam Mickiewicz, Poznan), an MA Fine Art (Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz) and a PhD, Fine Arts (University of Barcelona).
Sample materials are provided for this class.
Part-time students will be provided with a working space and storage to use throughout their stay.
