25 years of Metàfora!
Founded in 1999 and officially opening at our current location in 2000, we’re marking a quarter-century of art education and activity in 2025.
To commemorate this milestone, we’re hosting a special exhibition featuring works from our current students and alumni.
We’re inviting our entire Metàfora community—past and present teachers, tutors, and students—along with the public to join us for the show and other exciting events. Don’t miss the celebration!

Join the celebration!
We’re hosting a large group show featuring works by current students and alumni, transforming our campus into a vibrant gallery. For the very special occasion, the studio spaces shall be temporarily taken down to allow for a larger exhibition format which will take place throughout the campus.
Current and previous teachers, tutors and students will be invited to join our celebration as well as the general public for the show and other events we have organized. Come celebrate with art and drinks.
In addition to the exhibition, join us on May 31st for a Meet & Greet with Metàfora’s international alumni community. This reunion is intended to connect our network of international students from previous and current years.
Let’s celebrate 25 years of creativity, collaboration and community together! This event will be a joyful reflection on the past, present and future of Metàfora.
