Class description
Explore the artistic process of working with a live model in a workshop focused on a single long pose. Delve into the study of structural proportions, composition, color theory, and the interplay of light and shadow within the human body.
During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn the (´a la prima) technique, which involves direct and spontaneous painting with acrylic and oil mediums. This technique can be applied to both paper and canvas surfaces, allowing for experimentation and expression.
By closely observing the live model, attendees will develop their understanding of human anatomy and its representation in visual art. They will also gain insights into the technical aspects of capturing form, color, and the dynamic interplay of light and shadow.
Overall, this workshop provides a comprehensive learning experience for artists interested in honing their skills in acrylic and oil painting while focusing on the human figure.
