Class description
Engage in a hands-on technical workshop that explores the potential of paper, as well as small wooden boards, rods, and sticks, as sculpting materials. Discover the intricate interplay of geometry, structure, and balance in the world of sculpture.
During this workshop, participants will learn various techniques for creating sculptures using plans and sticks, cutting and manipulating sheets, and constructing volumes through folding and incorporating different components. They will also explore joining systems such as gluing or taping to assemble their sculptures. Additionally, the workshop will cover finishing methods like polishing, varnishing, or painting to enhance the final presentation.
