Lola Lasurt at Metàfora

For these past two weeks we were thrilled to have Lola Lasurt working at Metàfora.

We recently saw Lola’s work as part of the Generación 2018 exhibition in La Casa Encendida during our annual trip to Madrid in February this year.

In one of the studios at Metàfora she painted her biggest painting yet: a 170cm x 200cm portrait of Encarna García which will be part of a site specific multimedia installation she is currently working on.

This artwork will be inaugurated in L’Últim Passatge, curated by Alexia Medici in January 2019. The exhibition will be set in the recently evacuated historical houses of Passatge de Piera (part of the Colònia Castells).
