Guest Teachers at Metàfora Studio Arts Program

On Monday morning this week the students on the second and third year program had the honor to meet David Bestué for a one on one tutorial after a seminar about his work. Very inspiring for them meeting with him especially since most of the students saw his solo exhibition Rosi Amor at Reina Sofia earlier this year. Where we also had the pleasure of listening to him talking about the show, during our yearly trip to Madrid for the contemporary art fair ARCO.

Two weeks ago we also had the pleasure of having Martí Anson teaching an extensive two day workshop. Two days of interesting debates and discussions. Confronting and pushing the students to go further in their artistic practice and work with their difficulties. Questions of lies in art “what is a lie”, as well as working with playfulness and pleasure.
